About the Role

We are a reputed jewellery retail brand seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Banking Executive to handle daily banking operations, ensure accurate reconciliations, and maintain smooth coordination across departments. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Bank Reconciliation:

Download bank statements & payout reports, verify MDR charges, and resolve discrepancies with accounts/front office.

• Fund Utilisation:

Share daily utilisation reports and track rejected transactions.

• Gold Metal Loan (GML) Management:

Track export orders, process new GMLs, verify interest & customs duty, and coordinate with bullion partners.

• Payment Confirmations:

Share UTR details and confirm all POS, export, and bank charge receipts.

• Routine Banking Operations:

Manage daily cash deposits, petty cash, cheque reports, and resolve system mismatches.

• Monthly Activities:

Reconcile HDFC accounts, prepare bank charge workings, book provisions, and support GST-related queries.

• Finalisation & Audit Support:

Reconcile unidentified payments, reverse entries, and support year-end adjustments.

• Other Tasks:

Coordinate with Pine Labs for TID machines and manage credit card issuance/closures.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation sheets)
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation (manual & system-based)
• Familiar with HDFC portals, GML processes, and POS settlements
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable in high-volume environments
