Balance Sheet Completeness Control Analyst

Role Overview: You will be part of the Account Reference Architecture (ARA) team, responsible for ensuring end-to-end completeness and integrity among all Citi ledger accounts, cash bank accounts, and reconciliations within the Global Reconciliations Utility (GRU) organization. As part of the Recon Transformation program, you will support the expansion of ARA's scope and controls, collaborating with the project team and Technology for successful implementation. Your role will involve proposing design solutions, conducting data analysis, defining roles, establishing governance, and managing the operating model post-implementation to enhance governance and oversight for Citi. Key Responsibilities: - Investigate balance sheet breaks and analyze breaks identified during the Balance Validation, Bank Account, and Ledger Account processes. - Update mappings for accuracy, validate ledger reconciliation, ensure correct bank account treatment, and manage exceptions in the golden source repository. - Establish remediation processes, suggest resolution steps, and escalate control gaps promptly. - Collaborate with stakeholders, prepare comprehensive reports, propose process enhancements, provide value-added perspectives, and ensure proper testing and implementation of enhancements with Technology teams. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience - Good understanding of reconciliations between ledger and bank accounts - Knowledge of balance sheet substantiation processes - Strong Microsoft Excel skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy - Strong analytical skills with problem-solving abilities - Self-motivated with organizational and time management skills - Proactive mindset with a focus on collaboration and teamwork Education: Bachelors/University degree or equivalent If you have additional skills or need more information, please feel free to reach out to the recruiter.,
