Bakery Chef

We are looking for a talented and experienced Baker Head Chef to lead our bakery kitchen in Santacruz West, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should be passionate about artisanal baking, creative with recipes, and capable of managing a small team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily production of baked goods, ensuring quality control, and developing new menu items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Supervise and train junior bakers and kitchen staff.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in the bakery.
• Innovate and develop new recipes aligned with customer preferences and seasonal trends.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery for dine-in, takeaway, and catering orders.
• Maintain cost control, portion management, and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI and local health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef; at least 2 years in a head or supervisory role.
• Expertise in artisanal baking and a variety of baking techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and quality control.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Culinary certification or formal baking training is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
