Baker

Prose Patisserie and Cafe is a village cafe located in a quaint village of nachinola, Goa. We are a reputed cafe in Goa with recently awarded NDTV good times - Best Casual Cafe in west region.

We are looking to hire a baker with a minimum of one year work experience who will be responsible for,

Ingredient Preparation: Measuring, weighing, and combining ingredients according to recipes. Dough and Batter Preparation: Kneading, rolling, cutting, shaping, and filling doughs and batters. Baking: Operating ovens, setting temperatures, monitoring the baking process, and adjusting as needed. Finishing: Decorating, glazing, icing, and preparing toppings for baked goods. Quality Control: Ensuring all baked goods meet quality standards and specifications. Operational and Administrative Tasks: Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing inventory. Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining baking equipment and ensuring proper sanitation. Workplace Organization: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and health regulations. Record Keeping: Maintaining records of baking operations, including inventory, production levels, and deliveries. Recipe Development: May be involved in creating new recipes and adapting existing ones. Customer and Team Interaction: Customer Service: Answering customer questions, taking orders, and providing recommendations. Training and Supervision: May train and supervise other bakery staff. Communication: Effectively communicating with customers, team members, and supervisors.
