Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Cake Decorator cum Baker to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in baking, frosting, and decorating cakes with finesse — while maintaining quality, consistency, and artistry that align with the SoulCrumb brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of sponge bases, mousses, fillings, and frostings for cakes and pastries.
• Decorate and finish cakes using buttercream, ganache, fondant, and modern glazing techniques.
• Execute custom and designer cake orders with attention to detail and aesthetic precision.
• Assist in baking daily production items such as muffins, cookies, and dry cakes as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow standardized recipes, portioning, and quality control parameters.
• Collaborate with the pastry and R&D team to develop new flavor combinations and designs.
• Ensure timely completion and presentation of all cake and bakery orders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cake decorator or baker in a professional bakery/patisserie setup.
• Strong hand in frosting, piping, and finishing techniques.
• Basic knowledge of modern pastry and dessert trends.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production timelines.
• Keen sense of aesthetics, creativity, and attention to fine details.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
