Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Experience on Backup tool (VERITAS), Cohesity, Veeam to manage, monitor backup policies and jobs.
L1 knowledge of windows/Linux/Unix environment to manage backup operations.
Skill to work on veritas , Storeonce, Data domain Appliances.
Knowledge of Ops center, Alta for daily monitoring/reporting.
Ability to manage daily backup operations tasks Monitoring/Reporting/Troubleshooting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills
Create and provide reports for backups and related activities and tasks
Troubleshooting backup and restore related problems and server monitoring
Day to Day operational administration tasks to ensure backup are occurring and failures are being identified and addressed
Monitor and maintain all backup infrastructure including servers, tape libraries, and disk arrays , RV.
Configure storage Units, Storage devices, Tape volumes, Volume, VTL
Responsible to create & share the Daily/Weekly/Monthly backup reports
Vendor coordination

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should have good academic background with B Tech, BE. with experience in Backup support.
