As a Backup Engineer L1, your role involves the day-to-day management of the Backup Solution in a 24X7 basis round-the-clock model. Your key responsibilities include: - Monitoring and ensuring the smooth working of the Backup Solution - Troubleshooting issues in the solution to ensure 100% availability of manpower for managing the Backup service to customer departments - Configuring the Backup policy as per the Bank's IT Backup and Archival policies for the IT applications of departments and scheduling the Backup - Adding / releasing storages as per the requirement under the Backup solution - Scheduling and monitoring Backup jobs and restoring backup upon request from Application Owners (AOs) - Monitoring running Backup, coordinating, and troubleshooting with stakeholders for any backup failure - Backup jobs reporting and capacity planning - Supporting Integrated Business Continuity Exercise (IBCE) - Working with Backup Software Global support for resolving issues or escalations - Creating and maintaining asset inventory as per the bank's requirement - Creating and maintaining application owner to server mapping as per the bank's requirement - Performing day-to-day admin tasks on Windows and Linux servers as per the Bank's requirement - Conducting security patching, upgrades, and vulnerability closure on Windows and Linux Servers as per the Bank's Requirement - Creating and managing quality documentation as advised by the Bank team - Participating in various audits and other security reviews Qualification Required: - Graduate from an AICTE Affiliated / Approved institute Additional Company Details: Not available in the provided Job Description.
