ob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with a strong foundation in backend technologies and a proven track record of working as an individual contributor . The ideal candidate will excel at designing and delivering high-performance applications while taking ownership of end-to-end backend solutions. Additionally, the candidate will bring a working knowledge of DevOps practices and tools to ensure efficient deployment and operations. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a hands-on, independent environment and can deliver results with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems, APIs, and microservices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, solve technical challenges, and implement solutions. Write clean, well-structured, and testable code while adhering to industry best practices. Optimize performance and scalability of backend services to handle high-volume traffic and complex workflows. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis. DevOps Integration Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of backend systems using modern DevOps tools and methodologies. Collaborate on the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable code delivery. Manage application infrastructure on cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, OCP, or GCP ), focusing on automation and reliability. Contribute to containerization efforts using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes . Work with service mesh technologies like Istio, or Consul to enhance service-to-service communication, security, and observability. Ensure system availability and uptime by implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise in Backend Development Proven experience with one or more backend programming languages. Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB ) and query optimization. Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints. Knowledge of scalable architectures such as microservices, event driven and distributed systems. DevOps Familiarity Basic to intermediate experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, OCP, or GCP . Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes ). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions ). Exposure to service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, or Consul ) to enhance microservices communication and observability. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack ). Additional Skills Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git ) and collaborative workflows. Strong understanding of application performance optimization and caching mechanisms. Basic knowledge of network protocols, DNS, and load balancing. Soft Skills: Proven ability to work independently and as an individual contributor while delivering high-quality technical solutions. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to challenges. Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and solutions. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
