Backend Engineer- Platform team

As an API Developer at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities and duties: - Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful and Private APIs to enable seamless integrations with external systems. - Develop robust backend solutions using Node.js and TypeScript to power integration services. - Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure API compatibility with React/Next.js applications. - Design, query, and optimize PostgreSQL databases to support integration needs. - Contribute to the architecture of integration solutions for scalability, security, and reliability. - Conduct rigorous testing of APIs and backend solutions to identify and resolve issues. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and Private APIs. - Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js for integration alignment. - Strong coding and debugging skills, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code. - Prior experience in backend development, API engineering, or system integration is a plus. - Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities. - Experience with PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
