Backend Engineer- Platform team

The responsibilities and duties for this role include: You will be responsible for API Development by designing, building, and maintaining scalable RESTful and Private APIs to facilitate seamless integrations with external systems. Additionally, you will work on Backend Engineering to develop robust backend solutions using Node.js and TypeScript for integration services. Collaborating with frontend developers is also a part of your role to ensure API compatibility with React/Next.js applications. Database Management tasks involve designing, querying, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases to meet integration requirements. You will contribute to System Architecture by designing integration solutions that focus on scalability, security, and reliability. Testing and Debugging are crucial aspects of this role, where you will conduct thorough testing of APIs and backend solutions to identify and resolve any issues. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development is required. A solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and Private APIs is essential. Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and Next.js will be beneficial for alignment in integrations. Strong coding and debugging skills are necessary, emphasizing the importance of writing clean and maintainable code. Prior experience in backend development, API engineering, or system integration would be an advantage. An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities is desired, along with experience in PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
