" Job Title : Backend Developer (Node JS) Job Location - Chennai Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and related frameworks (Express.js\/NestJS). Design and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs for frontend and third-party integrations. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and deployment planning. Integrate with databases (SQL\/NoSQL) and implement data models. Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Must-Have Skills: Strong experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS . Proficiency in JavaScript\/TypeScript . Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs , WebSockets , or GraphQL . Experience working with MongoDB , MySQL , or PostgreSQL . Familiarity with authentication\/authorization protocols like JWT, OAuth. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming , error handling , and middleware patterns . Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with CI\/CD pipelines , Docker , or Kubernetes . Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of unit testing and tools like Mocha, Chai, Jest. Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka) or microservices architecture.
