Backend Developer(Node JS)

As a Senior Node.js / TypeScript Engineer at our company, your role will involve designing and developing backend services and platforms to support our voice AI products, no-code workflow tools, APIs, and real-time applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and platform components using Node.js and TypeScript. - Building and optimizing workflow-driven and real-time systems, such as WebSocket event-driven pipelines. - Integrating with third-party APIs and SDKs like Azure Speech, ElevenLabs, and Plivo. - Efficiently modeling and managing data in MongoDB to ensure performance and scalability. - Collaborating with frontend, product, ML, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive solutions. - Driving system design for scalability, reliability, and performance. - Implementing best practices for security, testing, CI/CD, and observability. - Mentoring junior developers and contributing to raising engineering standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4 years working with Node.js and TypeScript. - 3+ years of MongoDB experience, including data modeling, indexing, optimization, and scaling. - Proven ability to design and consume APIs (REST/GraphQL) and integrate third-party SDKs. - Hands-on experience with workflow engines or no-code/low-code platforms. - Familiarity with real-time systems like WebSockets, streaming, and pub/sub. - Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Nice to have qualifications include exposure to Redis or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), and experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
