About the Role:

We’re seeking a *skilled and passionate Backend Developer* to join our fast-growing tech team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with *PHP (Laravel)* and *Node.js, and be capable of building robust, scalable APIs and backend systems. You'll start working remotely, with the possibility of transitioning to our **Gurgaon office* as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs using *Laravel* and *Node.js*
* Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to define and deliver new features* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code* Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance* Manage database design, schema changes, and data migration (MySQL/MongoDB)* Implement security best practices and scalable backend architecture

Must-Have Skills:

* Proficiency in *PHP* and the *Laravel framework*
* Solid experience with *Node.js* and Express.js* Understanding of *REST APIs, **OAuth/JWT authentication, and **middleware logic** Experience with *MySQL* and/or *MongoDB** Basic knowledge of version control systems like *Git** Ability to write reusable and well-documented code

Good to Have:

* Experience with third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.)
* Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Firebase, or DigitalOcean* Knowledge of server deployment (Linux, Nginx/Apache)

* Based in or willing to relocate to *Gurgaon* in the future
