Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer at Maitri AI, your role will involve developing, optimizing, and maintaining backend services using FastAPI. You will be responsible for implementing API authentication, authorization, and security best practices while utilizing SQLAlchemy for ORM-based database management. Designing, querying, and optimizing databases using MySQL, along with utilizing NumPy and Pandas for data processing and transformation will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with frontend developers to integrate APIs seamlessly and maintaining CI/CD workflows with GitHub are crucial aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using FastAPI - Implement API authentication, authorization, and security best practices - Utilize SQLAlchemy for ORM-based database management - Design, query, and optimize databases using MySQL - Utilize NumPy and Pandas for data processing and transformation - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs seamlessly - Maintain CI/CD workflows with GitHub Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of experience in backend development - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field - Proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI - Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy and MySQL databases - Strong understanding of API authentication and security principles - Experience working with GitHub for version control and collaboration Additionally, you will be expected to research and integrate Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions such as Gemini AI and OpenAI. Troubleshooting and resolving backend-related issues, staying updated with the latest advancements in backend technologies and AI, are also key parts of your role. Preferred skills include experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI models, knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, and exposure to cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. ,
