Backend Developer

As a Technical Lead / AM Java Developer at our company in Pune, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of developers while also contributing to hands-on development activities. We are seeking an individual with a strong balance of technical expertise and leadership experience, where 50% of your focus will be on hands-on development and the other 50% on team management responsibilities. Your primary responsibilities will include building high-quality software products through collaboration and a commitment to excellence. You will guide the team in designing, developing, and delivering robust solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards and industry best practices. Additionally, you will be required to implement and improve development processes, tools, and workflows using Agile/Scrum methodologies. In this role, you will recruit, onboard, and upskill team members to build a high-performing team. You will act as a liaison between the development team and other departments to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements. Taking ownership of key modules, especially complex or critical parts of the project, will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you must have experience handling a team of 36 developers and possess strong hands-on experience in Java, Hibernate/JPA, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Web Services. Knowledge of Microservices, Angular, or React is considered an added advantage. You should also demonstrate sound logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
