Backend Developer Node.js (2+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Node.js to build, maintain, and scale backend services for web and mobile applications. The candidate should be comfortable working with APIs, databases, and integrations, and should be able to convert functional requirements into reliable backend solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js
• Design and implement REST APIs for web and mobile applications
• Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data
• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., payment, messaging, verification APIs)
• Handle authentication, authorization, and role-based access
• Implement basic security best practices in backend development
• Optimize application performance and handle error scenarios
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Fix bugs and support existing backend systems

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks
• Good understanding of REST API development
• Experience working with JSON and HTTP protocols
• Hands-on experience with databases:
• MongoDB or
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Basic understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, sessions)
• Experience integrating third-party APIs
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Basic understanding of deployment concepts (server, environment variables)
