Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Backend Developer who is highly skilled in Laravel and other backend technologies. The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge of domains, hosting, and server deployment, and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components using Laravel and PHP.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Manage server-side logic, databases, and application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Understand and manage domain registration, DNS setup, and web hosting environments (cPanel, shared/VPS hosting, etc.).
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing codebases.
• Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience with Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of PHP, OOP, and MVC architecture.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with domain and hosting setup, including basic server configuration, FTP, cPanel, and SSL.
• Experience with Git/version control systems.
• Knowledge of backend languages or tools such as Node.js, Python, or others is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

• Experience with Linux server environments.
• Understanding of Docker or CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, or GCP.
• Basic knowledge of frontend (HTML, CSS, JS) is a plus.
