Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience in server-side application logic, and proficiency in working with databases and APIs. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend components that power our applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define system architecture and requirements.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex backend issues.
• Implement security protocols and ensure the security of sensitive data.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Manage the integration of external services and APIs.
• Maintain code documentation and follow industry best practices in code management (Git, CI/CD).
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the use of best practices across the team.
• Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, PHP, or others.
• Experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express.js, or others.
• Expertise in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other communication protocols.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
