We’re looking for a Backend Developer Intern who is excited to work on real-world projects and scale systems from 0 to 1. You'll work closely with our tech and product teams to build and integrate backend services that power our self-drive rental platform.. Key Responsibilities:. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express. Integrate third-party APIs for payments, notifications, and maps. Set up and manage Firebase for authentication, database, or cloud functions. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues. Requirements:. Strong understanding of JavaScript and Node.js. Experience with Express.js framework. Familiarity with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions). Knowledge of API integration and JSON-based REST APIs. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Self-starter mindset with a hunger to learn and grow. Good to Have:.
