Backend Developer

As a backend engineer with the Core Shopping Experience engineering team, you will be responsible for: - Building highly available and scalable system solutions that power our apps and interfaces on various platforms - Contributing to the high-level architecture of multiple systems to drive technology and best practices in engineering - Developing a highly scalable, extensible, reliable, and available platform - Driving optimizations to support a growing number of transactions - Translating complex business use cases and wireframes into high-quality scalable code - Establishing industry best practices in architecture, design, and SDLC practices Qualifications & Experience: - At least 3 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale applications in any language or stack - Proficiency in at least one of PHP, JavaScript, Node, or Python - Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services - Conceptual familiarity with a cloud-tech stack including AWS, real-time message brokers, SQL, NoSQL, continuous delivery, and configuration management - Good knowledge and experience of working with a large variety of multi-tier architecture,
