Backend Developer - Golang

As a Golang Developer at InstaSafe, you will play a vital role in the backend team, focusing on constructing secure, scalable, and high-performance services that form the foundation of our cybersecurity solutions. Your responsibilities will involve translating business and security requirements into technical solutions, emphasizing secure coding, data protection, and performance optimization. Working closely with product and design teams, you will utilize MongoDB to create efficient data structures aligned with InstaSafe's data-centric cybersecurity approach. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers and design teams to deliver high-quality, secure solutions, developing and enhancing secure web APIs and backend systems using Golang, designing and implementing new features with a focus on low-latency and high-performance, managing data efficiently with MongoDB integration, contributing to the architecture and development of cybersecurity-centric products, implementing security protocols for data protection, optimizing performance of Golang microservices and MongoDB instances, setting up logging and monitoring systems for performance tracking and security auditing, conducting code reviews to maintain secure coding standards, and writing reusable, testable, and efficient code while documenting technical specifications and best practices. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with 4-6 years of experience in software development, primarily focusing on Golang in production environments. Your technical skills should include proficiency in Golang, REST APIs, MVC architecture, and ORM libraries, experience with MongoDB schema design and query optimization, designing scalable applications in AWS cloud environments, and a strong understanding of security best practices such as secure coding standards and data protection. Additional skills like familiarity with Python and experience with JavaScript frameworks are advantageous. You should also have experience with version control using Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and debugging. Strong analytical skills, independent problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for effective cross-functional collaboration.
