Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer at the DAAI Business Suite, you will be responsible for developing robust REST APIs, creating microservices, and optimizing database interactions using MongoDB. Your expertise in Node.js, ExpressJS, and JSON-based APIs will be crucial for this role. Your key responsibilities will include designing and maintaining scalable REST APIs with Node.js & ExpressJS, optimizing MongoDB schemas & queries, implementing authentication & authorization using JWT/OAuth, ensuring data security and compliance with best practices, integrating frontend applications with APIs, and enhancing API performance through caching, indexing, and query optimization. Additionally, you will be tasked with debugging, troubleshooting, and improving existing backend logic, implementing error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms, and collaborating with frontend developers for seamless integration. Experience with Docker & CI/CD pipelines for deployment is preferred. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Node.js backend development, with strong proficiency in Node.js, ExpressJS, MongoDB, JSON, and REST APIs. You should also possess knowledge in MongoDB Aggregations & Indexing, security protocols like JWT and OAuth, performance optimization techniques including caching, and experience with version control tools like Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket. While experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms like AWS/GCP is preferred, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Jest is optional but beneficial. The salary for this position ranges from 10000-15000 per month with a performance bonus.
