Backend Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and designing backend systems using NodeJS and related frameworks such as express, Loopback, and Koa. Additionally, you will be involved in frontend development using TypeScript/JavaScript, performance tuning, and API development. Your role will also require expertise in coding principles, CI/CD pipeline, quality assurance, distributed services, containerization, API gateway integration, and authentication methods like Single-Sign-on and token-based authentication. Key Responsibilities: - Experienced in backend development with NodeJS and frameworks like express, Loopback, Koa - Proficient in using profiling tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace for performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring - Familiar with microservices design patterns including Observer, SAGA, Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, and Service Discovery - Hands-on experience in frontend development using TypeScript/JavaScript - Skilled in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring - Excellent knowledge in developing scalable and highly-available Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies - Extensive experience in coding with SOLID principles, Event Driven Architecture (Kafka), MongoDB, and Redis - Well versed with CI/CD principles and actively involved in troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem - Good experience in using Quality gate tools like Sonarqube, Checkmarx, and Fortify - Familiar with distributed services resiliency and monitoring in a production environment - Understanding of containerization with experience in Dockers and Kubernetes - Exposed to API gateway integrations like 3Scale - Understanding of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication methods such as Rest, JWT, and oAuth Qualifications Required: - Experience in following best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices - Industry expertise in Banking, Financial, and Fintech sectors in an enterprise environment preferred - Experience working with Agile methodology - Ability to effectively research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies Company Details: The company is focused on influencing stakeholders by sharing deep knowledge and experience to increase productivity and effectiveness.
