Position – Back Office Intern - Biology Department

Location – Central Avenue, Near Central Metro, Kolkata.

Stipend – 5000 to 7000

Week off - Tuesday

Working Hours - 11am to 8pm

Education: Minimum requirement is a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Biology Back Office Intern to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The intern will primarily focus on the following tasks:

● Document Formatting and Editing (MS Word Skills): Applying, maintaining, and

correcting complex formatting, styles, and templates within Microsoft Word for biology

book manuscripts.

● Data Entry and Text Input (Typing Speed): Maintaining a high level of typing speed

and accuracy for efficient processing of textual changes.

● Blueprint and Structural Editing: Reviewing and modifying book blueprints to ensure

logical flow and adherence to publishing specifications.

● Content Familiarity (Minimum Biology Knowledge): Possessing a basic

understanding of core biological concepts to identify obvious content errors or

inconsistencies in text structure and terminology.

● Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and large documents efficiently.

● Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.
