Back-End Developer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop and maintain robust server-side applications.
• Implement scalable and secure APIs and web services.
• Integrate with front-end components and third-party services.
• Design and optimize database schemas.
• Develop, test, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure data integrity and security.
• Optimize application performance and scalability. Monitor and troubleshoot server-side issues.
• Implement caching strategies and load balancing.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Follow and enforce best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
• Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Propose and implement improvements to development processes.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Java, Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot 3, Spring Security or similar.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (MySQL).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Docker, Linux).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
