About the Role

Forvis Mazars LLP is looking for a versatile and results-driven Software Developer with proven expertise in backend and full-stack development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and independently driving projects from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend and full-stack solutions for internal use and client-facing applications.

• Build scalable systems to support high-traffic platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

• Lead development initiatives in collaboration with Product and Project Managers, including:

o Building an IT ticketing tool from concept to deployment with security features and unit tests.

o Developing a cross-platform desk booking system using Progressive Web Apps.

o Creating and maintaining a CRM application for both in-house and client use.

• Write well-documented, operable, and tested code following industry best practices.

• Collaborate with teams on product design, architecture, and performance optimization.

• Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications in production.

• Engage in Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban).

Required Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, PHP, Python, C/C++, C#, SQL (Postgres, MySQL, MS-SQL).

• Frameworks & Libraries: Node.js, Express.js, React, React Native, Next.js, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, CodeIgniter, jQuery, Bootstrap.

• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres, MS-SQL, Neo4j.

• Cloud & DevOps Tools: AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.

• Other Tools: Swagger, Postman, Agile methodologies, Design Patterns, SOLID principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (B. Tech. preferred).

• Experience leading or contributing to full lifecycle development of enterprise applications.

• Exposure to real-time communication tools (e.g., socket.io) and machine learning model integration.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
