Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud solutions.
• Act as the technical SME for Azure services including

  Azure AD, IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security, and Monitoring

  .
• Lead and support

  cloud migration projects

  , including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
• Provide

  hands-on troubleshooting

  for Azure-related issues and performance tuning.
• Implement

  best practices for governance, compliance, security, and cost optimization

  in Azure.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
• Prepare and maintain

  technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and SOPs

  .
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure services, tools, and trends to recommend improvements.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience

  working with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Strong expertise in

  Azure IaaS and PaaS

  services (VMs, Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, Load Balancer, Firewalls, etc.).
• Experience in

  Azure Active Directory, RBAC, Security & Identity management

  .
• Knowledge of

  Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform)

  .
• Proven experience in

  cloud migrations, hybrid environments, and on-prem to Azure transformation

  .
• Solid understanding of

  networking concepts

  (VNET, Subnet, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, NSG, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  monitoring and logging tools

  (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle escalations and complex issues.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.

• Microsoft Certified:

  Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

• Microsoft Certified:

  Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

• Microsoft Certified:

  Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
