Role Overview: As a Senior Azure Solution Architect at our company, your main responsibility will be to lead the design and delivery of large-scale, data-driven enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep technical expertise, enterprise architecture knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure that cloud solutions are aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and design end-to-end cloud solutions using Azure, including Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Machine Learning, and Power BI. - Define data strategies, transformation roadmaps, and governance frameworks that are in line with enterprise goals. - Serve as an Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentoring architects and engineers while promoting the adoption of cloud best practices. - Offer guidance on performance tuning, cost optimization, and scalability in Azure environments. - Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and data scientists to deliver business-aligned technical solutions. - Define and implement data governance, security, and compliance policies such as GDPR and HIPAA. - Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into the enterprise architecture. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Business Intelligence, Data Architecture, and Solution Design. - 6-8 years of experience in Azure-based data platforms, including Data Factory, SQL Database, Synapse, Databricks, and Power BI. - 3-5 years of experience in leading technical teams and mentoring architects and engineers. - Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-performance cloud solutions in enterprise environments. - Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse design. - Hands-on experience with AI/ML services in Azure. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Additional Company Details: The company is looking for candidates who are Microsoft Certified as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Data Engineer Associate, possess certifications in Machine Learning, AI, or Enterprise Architecture, have experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, ARM templates, Bicep, and knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
