Role Overview:

Ness Digital Engineering InfoSec Team is seeking an experienced Security Engineer with

deep expertise in Tenable one security management and Vulnerability Assessment and

Penetration Testing. The ideal candidate will lead vulnerability management initiatives

and assist in securing cloud environments, ensuring robust security posture through

continuous monitoring and remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Tenable Vulnerability Management platform across

enterprise environments.

• Operate and optimize the Tenable One platform for comprehensive exposure

management across cloud environments including AWS and Azure.

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments, analyze findings, and coordinate

remediation activities with IT and Security teams.

• Develop and maintain cloud security posture and vulnerability management

practices for AWS & Azure environments.

• Identify, prioritize, and mitigate cloud security risks by analyzing vulnerabilities,

misconfigurations, identity misuse, and workload exploits.

• Implement Continuous Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud

Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) within Tenable to enforce least-

privilege access and ensure compliance.

• Integrate Tenable tools with other security infrastructure such as SIEM, ticketing

systems, and endpoint protection solutions.

• Conduct vulnerability scanning and continuous monitoring of cloud workloads,

including virtual machines, containers, and serverless functions.

• Detect and respond to cloud security threats using telemetry, automation

workflows, and enriched cloud provider logs.

• Collaborate closely with cloud architects, DevOps, and SecOps teams to embed

security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

and cloud operations.

• Automate security operations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

techniques.

• Assist in cloud security incident response, including investigation, containment,

and remediation.

• Generate detailed security reports and dashboards for technical teams and

management stakeholders.

• Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities, threats, and enhancements in Tenable

products and cloud security technologies.

• Serve as subject matter expert on Tenable One cloud security capabilities and

provide training and support to internal teams.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align security efforts with business and

compliance objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in vulnerability management with hands-on

Tenable SecurityCenter or Tenable.io experience.

• Proven expertise in cloud security controls and vulnerability management (AWS,

Azure, GCP).

• Strong knowledge of network, endpoint, and cloud security principles and

technologies.

• Experience with CSPM and CIEM principles and tools.
• Relevant certifications preferred: Tenable Vulnerability Management Specialist,

or equivalent.

• Experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell) and API

integrations is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Desirable Attributes:

• Ability to translate complex vulnerability data into actionable security plans.
• Experience working in agile, security operations, or managed security service

environments.
