Role & responsibilities

Senior Principal Engineer / Azure Lead Architect

Preferred candidate profile

• Deep expertise in

  Azure services

  , including:

• Networking:

  VNets, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, Front Door, Private Endpoints, Firewalls, NSGs.

• Compute & App Modernization:

  AKS, App Services, Functions, Durable Functions.

• Data & Analytics:

  Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse, Data Factory.

• Messaging & Integration:

  Service Bus, Event Hubs, API Management.
• Proven experience in

  performance tuning, resiliency design, and high-availability architectures

  .
• Programming background in

  .NET Core, Java, Python, or C/C++

  (legacy COBOL knowledge a plus).
• Hands-on experience with

  cloud observability tools

  and

  performance monitoring

  .
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional technical teams.

Qualifications

• Certifications:

  Any

  relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-XXX series)

  applicable for Azure architects and engineers (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-400, AZ-500, AZ-204, AZ-900, etc.).
• Prior experience in

  large-scale modernization programs

  for healthcare, financial services, or supply chain domains.
• Hands-on experience with

  Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

  using ARM templates and Terraform (modules, templates, and state management).
• Strong knowledge of

  Azure DevOps toolchain

  (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards) for CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in

  HL7 standards (v2.x, v3, FHIR)

  , parsing, transformations, and healthcare messaging workflows.
• Strong understanding of

  cloud security principles

  : IAM, encryption, identity, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with

  containerization and orchestration technologies

  (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of

  FinOps practices

  for cost-performance optimization.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
