Manager Enterprise technology cloud engineer(Azure Integration)

At M&G, we are working hard to build a technology foundation fit for a modern digital, insight-led, responsive business. As part of this exciting transformation we are looking for a talented Manager Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering Capability within M&Gs Cloud Platform Services Team.

As a colleague within Cloud Platform Services, you will be part of a team driving M&Gs Core Cloud Platform. Facing off to the entire M&G organisation, we own, develop and operate M&Gs core Cloud Infrastructure, supporting projects and business users to bring their workloads into the Cloud.
We also develop and manage key Enterprise Engineering Platforms and Tools such as Apigee (API Management), Azure DevOps, M&Gs Enterprise Container Platform and M&Gs Data Science & Machine Learning Platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about their craft, who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with colleagues from a wide gamut of background and experiences to join a team building M&Gs future technology platform.

1. Key skills required on the role:

1. Proficiency in Integration of various Azure resources (

   IaaS and PaaS)

2. Proficiency in developing infrastructure automation scripts in the form of

   Terraform

   ,

   ARM templates and Azure Power Shell

   scripts
3. Experience with containers, registries, and related orchestration technologies (

   Kubernetes or ARO

   ,

   Helm

   charts

   ).
4. Good working and hands on knowledge of

   Azure IaaS

5. Experience working with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python
6. Minimum 5-9 Years experience required for 2C Level
7. Candidate should be able to articulate his experience and projects that he has worked on.
8. Someone who is good with Agile Methodologies.
9. Proficiency and thorough understanding of

   Azure RBAC model
