Azure Infrastructure Engineer

As an Azure Infrastructure Developer at Pepper Advantage India, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of a loan servicing platform and broader ecosystem on the Azure cloud. Your expertise in Azure infrastructure and development practices will be essential in ensuring the platform's success. Here is a breakdown of what will be expected from you: **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure using best tools and practices. - Design pipelines, containers, virtual networks, monitoring dashboards, etc. - Configure and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines across production and non-prod environments. - Advise the development team on optimizing Azure resources for cost and performance. - Monitor the performance of Azure resources. - Implement governance policies such as Azure AD, security, virtual networks, etc. - Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for multi-tenant setup. - Manage and maintain codebase using industry best practices for audit and control. - Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize system developments and meet release schedules. - Work closely with back and front-end developers to create an optimal environment. - Design and implement robust automated testing in an agile fashion. - Analyze and estimate sprint items as part of the Scrum team. - Stay updated with the latest Azure features, trends, and best practices. **Accountabilities:** - Take ownership of the Project Horizon Infrastructure and environment governance. **Qualifications:** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Strong documentation skills for technical and operational/process mapping. - Ability to work in Agile frameworks with adaptability. - Problem-solving skills and collaborative approach to finding solutions. - Excellent knowledge of Azure Cloud, IaC practices, CI/CD methodologies, Azure AD, and security. - Deep understanding of various cloud artifacts/tools and modern software architectures. - Track record of building high-performing and reliable infrastructures. - Advocate of CI/CD principles and experience with Azure DevOps stack. - Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. - Ability to analyze problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions. - Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a team. - Multitasking capabilities and openness to feedback for continuous improvement. - Experience in collaborating with remote teams and delivering high-quality work within set timeframes. - Ability to handle high-pressure and fast-paced situations, adapting positively to change.
