Azure Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration workflows using

  Azure Logic Apps

  (Standard and Consumption plans).
• Develop serverless compute solutions using

  Azure Functions

  for custom connectors, transformations, and event-driven processing.
• Manage and configure

  Azure API Management (APIM)

  for API lifecycle management, security policies, and endpoint exposure.
• Implement messaging patterns using

  Azure Service Bus

  (queues, topics, sessions, dead-lettering) to support decoupled and reliable communication.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for Logic Apps, Functions, and APIM deployments.
• Apply security best practices using

  Azure AD (Entra ID)

  for authentication, authorization, and managed identities.
• Implement APIM policies for authentication, throttling, IP filtering, CORS, request/response transformation, and threat protection.
• Work with data services such as

  Azure SQL

  ,

  Cosmos DB

  ,

  Storage Accounts

  , and

  Data Factory

  for ETL/ELT and persistent state management.
• Enable hybrid connectivity using private endpoints, VNET integration, and secure access to on-premises systems via Integration Service Environment (ISE) or VNET gateways.
• Write and maintain code/scripts in

  C#

  ,

  XSLT

  , and

  Liquid

  for data transformation and custom logic.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience with

  Azure Integration Services

  , including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, and Service Bus.
• Strong understanding of

  workflow orchestration

  ,

  messaging patterns

  , and

  event-driven architectures

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  DevOps tools

  such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Solid knowledge of

  Azure AD (Entra ID)

  for app registrations, OAuth2/OIDC, and managed identities.
• Experience implementing

  APIM policies

  for security and traffic management.
• Familiarity with

  Azure data services

  (SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Factory) and hybrid connectivity patterns.
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages:

  C#

  ,

  XSLT

  , and

  Liquid

  .
• Experience with source control tools like

  GitHub

  and development environments such as

  VS Code

  .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
