Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. DevOps Engineering & CI/CD

• Design, configure, and maintain

  Azure DevOps pipelines

  (Build & Release).
• Implement and manage

  CI/CD workflows

  for ADF, Databricks, Fabric, and Azure Analysis Services.
• Manage

  Azure DevOps Repos

  , Git workflows, pull requests, and merge strategies.
• Create automation scripts using

  PowerShell

  and

  Python

  for deployments, approvals, and pipelines.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and manage

  ARM Templates

  ,

  Terraform

  , or

  Bicep

  for consistent resource provisioning.
• Handle IaC versioning, validation, and rollout across environments.
  

3. Data Platform & Analytics Services Management

• Build, monitor, and optimize

  Azure Data Factory

  ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Administer

  Microsoft Fabric

  workspaces, access, pipelines, and integration flows.
• Manage

  Azure Analysis Services

  and Cubes: model deployments, scaling, performance tuning.
• Administer

  Azure Databricks

  : cluster provisioning, performance tuning, security, and CI/CD integration.

4. Identity, Access & Security Management

• Manage

  Entra ID (Azure AD)

  for analytics platforms.
• Implement group-based access for

  Power BI

  workspaces, reports, and Fabric resources.
• Ensure proper RBAC, service principals, and secure DevOps configuration.
  

5. Cost Management & Optimization

• Implement and monitor

  Azure Cost Management

  budgets, alerts, and cost allocation reports.
• Develop tagging strategies and optimize cloud spend across business units and markets.
