Position Overview

Azure DevOps Security Engineer (SRE)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  to automate build, test, and deployment processes across environments.
• Manage containerized applications using

  Docker

  , ensuring consistent and portable deployments.
• Orchestrate and scale microservices using

  Kubernetes

  , including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Administer and optimize

  cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure

  , leveraging services like

  AKS

  ,

  Azure DevOps

  , and

  Azure Monitor

  .
• Implement and manage

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  practices using

  Terraform

  or

  Bicep

  for secure and repeatable provisioning.

• Monitor and improve system performance, availability, and security

  using modern

  observability and monitoring tools

  with proactive alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to understand infrastructure needs, propose solutions, and ensure smooth delivery of DevOps services.
• Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage and secure

  MongoDB setup

  and related infrastructure components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with

  Azure services

  and cloud security best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (

  PowerShell

  ,

  Bash

  ) for automation.
• Experience with

  Terraform

  ,

  Ansible

  , or equivalent IaC/configuration management tools.
• Strong understanding of

  DevOps principles, automation, and secure cloud operations

  .
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as

  Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

  or

  Azure Administrator Associate

  .
• Experience with

  container orchestration

  and

  observability platforms

  (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Familiarity with

  network fundamentals

  (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
• Prior experience working in

  secure, always-available cloud environments
