Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Bricks, PySpark,

and SQL Data Factory to support data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.

Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to gather data

requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.

Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and data quality, ensuring smooth

and efficient data processing.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues or errors in data pipelines ensuring data integrity and

availability.

Utilize your expertise in data modeling and schema design to ensure data structures meet business

needs and support efficient querying and reporting.

Explore and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data engineering

processes and productivity.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a

culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure data engineering technologies and trends, and

apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

4 to 10 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure technologies.

Strong proficiency in Azure Data Bricks, PySpark, and SQL Data Factory.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and data lakes in a cloud environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional

team environment.

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Databricks) are a plus.
