Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary:

Azure Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using
Azure Data Factory
.
Build and optimize data lakes and data models in
Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
.
Develop and manage
ETL/ELT workflows
using
Azure Databricks
(PySpark/Scala).
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.
Implement best practices for data governance and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years
of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
Strong expertise in:

Azure Data Factory
Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2)
Azure Databricks
(including Spark)

Proficiency in
SQL
,
Python
, or
Scala
.
Experience with version control tools like
Git
and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Synapse, Snowflake is a plus).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
