Azure Data bricks Architect

As a Lead Data Architect with 10 to 15.8 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement data collection, storage, transformation, orchestration, and consumption strategies to maximize the value derived from data. You will be leading data delivery teams and playing a crucial role in modeling data for optimal reuse, interoperability, security, and accessibility. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing efficient data ingestion and transformation pipelines and ensuring data accessibility through a cost-effective consumption layer supporting various user groups. Your work will primarily be focused on the Azure Data Analytics Platform, although you will not be limited to this platform. You will be responsible for optimizing costs related to data delivery, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, and contributing to the evolution of these standards based on changing technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design and oversee the entire data architecture strategy. - Mentor junior data architects to facilitate their skill development in alignment with the team's strategy. - Design and implement complex, scalable, high-performance data architectures meeting business requirements. - Model data for optimal reuse, interoperability, security, and accessibility. - Develop and maintain data flow diagrams and data dictionaries. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions. - Ensure data accessibility through a cost-effective consumption layer supporting various user groups. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems. Qualifications: - Proficiency in tools such as Erwin, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, SQL, Power BI, Spark, Python, and R. - Ability to drive business results through the creation of optimal cost data landscapes. - Familiarity with Azure AI/ML Services, Azure Analytics (Event Hub, Stream Analytics), and scripting tools like Ansible. - Experience in machine learning and advanced analytics.
