Job Description

Job Title: Azure Data Architect

Location:

Role Overview

Azure Data Architect

Key Responsibilities

Architect and solution data platforms using
Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, and ADLS
.
Design scalable data pipelines, integrations, and processing frameworks using
Spark/PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, Flink, and Kafka
.
Implement
data governance, lineage, and security
with
Microsoft Purview, Azure Data Explorer, Apache Iceberg, and Atlas
.
Work with modern architectures including
Snowflake, Graph DBs, Vector Stores, and Azure PostgreSQL
.
Define best practices for
CI/CD and DevOps
using Azure DevOps and Git.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to align architecture with domain needs (Supply Chain, Health Insurance/MedTech, BFS Payments, Banking, O&G, Sustainability, R&D).
Mentor engineering teams and ensure adherence to architecture standards.

Mandatory Skills

Data Architecture Solutioning
on Azure native services
Strong expertise in
Azure (DataLake, ADB, ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Functions, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, AKS, Azure DevOps)
.
Proficiency in
Spark/PySpark, Scala, Java, Python
.
Big Data stack:
Hadoop, Hive, Flink, Kafka
.
Microsoft Purview, Azure Data Explorer, Apache Iceberg, Atlas
.
CI/CD using
Azure DevOps / Git
.

Good-to-Have Skills

Domain knowledge in
