Role Overview: As an Azure Cognitive Service and AI Developer at EY, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing applications with a focus on Azure services and Python. Your expertise in Azure services, computer vision, text analytics, speech services, and AI/ML libraries will contribute to building innovative solutions. Additionally, your proficiency in React will be essential in developing component-based architectures and integrating APIs to fetch data from Azure services. Key Responsibilities: - Understand existing application architecture and solution design - Design individual components and develop them in line with project requirements - Collaborate with architects, team leads, and members in an agile scrum environment - Hands-on development of applications to be hosted on Azure cloud - Design and develop frameworks and core functionalities for applications - Identify gaps in the existing solutions and propose effective resolutions - Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance and support - Review code to establish best practices and ensure quality standards - Stay updated with the latest technologies and align them with EY's use cases to solve business problems efficiently - Demonstrate the ability to view the big picture and contribute to designing highly secured and scalable web applications on Azure cloud - Keep management informed about the project progress and milestones - Work under the Agile design and development framework, showcasing good hands-on development experience Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of Azure Web Services and Azure SQL - Proficiency in computer vision tasks such as image analysis, OCR, and facial recognition using Azure APIs - Experience in text analytics including sentiment analysis, key phrase extraction, and language detection - Familiarity with speech services like speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and speaker recognition - Ability to build and train language models using Language Understanding (LUIS) - Integration of bots with cognitive capabilities using Azure Bot Services - Working with generative AI models on Azure AI Studio/OpenAI on Azure - Skills in security and compliance, managing keys, endpoints, and access control - Solid foundation in Core Python including data structures, OOP, and exception handling - Proficient in API integration by consuming REST APIs (e.g., Azure SDKs) - Experience in data processing using pandas, NumPy, and json for data manipulation - Familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as scikit-learn, transformers, or OpenAI SDKs - Knowledge of React, including component-based architecture, hooks like useState and useEffect, state management using Context API, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand, and API integration for fetching data from Azure services Note: The above qualifications are essential to excel in the role and contribute effectively to the projects at EY.
