Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring project and product teams implement lean, robust and secure IT service infrastructure.

Partner with technology, operations, security, and compliance teams to provide guidance in line with industry best practice and corporate strategy.

Duties And Responsibilities

Designing Cloud Infrastructure services for large Azure Cloud migration, new products and change work, in conjunction with the Cloud engineering teams.
Design of target cloud architecture and help determine the Azure services along with the infrastructure required to support the migration.
Providing input into governance processes, so that appropriate technology choices are made.
Communicating (and justifying) infrastructure strategy and direction throughout the organization; especially with technical and compliance teams.
Contributing to technical standards and templates.
Work with client architects to develop a migration strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns while ensuring proper configuration of cloud services.
Plan the testing, validation, and fine-tuning of cloud services as resources are migrated to Azure.
Use Azure Boards for project plans and tasks.
Setup Azure CI/CD,
Good to have experience in Docker/Kubernetes containers/clusters, Helm charts, etc.
Also, good to have understanding and hands-on knowledge of Infra as a Code technologies like ARM/Bicep/Terraform

Mandatory Requirements

Previous hands-on experience implementing complex IT systems on Azure public cloud.
Proven hands-on experience on Cloud Infrastructure designing and implementing on Azure public cloud.
2+ years of Hands-on experience in migrations of IAAS, PaaS, SaaS etc.
Hands-on experience in configuring azure migrate tool.
Knowledge on implementing Cloud Adoption Framework migration methodology.
Knowledge on implementing Well-Architected Framework apply for the architecture/landing zone.
Experience in driving tech architecture principles, policies and guidelines through project deliveries and implementations.
Excellent understanding of reference architecture
Hands-on experience in HA/DR practices/processes, DR testing, planning and executing QC/UAT/Prod/DR cut-over etc.
Understanding and experience working with Azure public cloud services, preferably in a regulated environment.
Azure / Infosec certification a bonus.
Knowledge of security controls frameworks such as CIS, OWASP and PCI-DSS.
Understanding of SDLC and hands-on experience of agile ways of working.
Experience in stakeholder management; able to push a strong change agenda.
