Azure Cloud Engineer

As an Azure DevOps professional, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices to ensure the efficient deployment and operation of cloud-based applications. You should have a strong background in Azure, automation, and DevOps methodologies. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures on Azure. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives and best practices. Additionally, leading the migration and modernization of applications to Azure cloud will be part of your role. You will be expected to architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools. Automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates will be crucial. Integrating automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes will also be part of your duties. Ensuring the implementation and enforcement of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements will be essential. You will conduct security assessments, audits, and implement necessary controls and monitoring solutions. Managing identity and access management (IAM) policies and procedures will also fall under your purview. Monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, reliability, and optimizing for cost efficiency will be critical. You will implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud infrastructure issues will be part of your daily tasks. Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions is a key aspect of this role. You will mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and knowledge sharing. Effective communication with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions will be essential. Lastly, maintaining comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures is crucial to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
