Job Summary

As an Azure AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Machine Learning. You will build scalable, secure, and cost-effective AI applications integrated with enterprise systems, driving innovation in AI technologies at scale.

Lead end-to-end development of AI-powered solutions on Azure cloud platforms, from design to deployment and monitoring.
Develop and optimize AI models including natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms using Azure AI services.
Implement AI pipelines and agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangGraph or Azure Bot Service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
Apply prompt engineering, generative AI techniques, and embedding models to solve complex problems.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and ethical standards in all AI implementations.
Build data processing and validation systems for documents and structured data using Azure Document Intelligence and custom AI algorithms.
Develop monitoring and observability frameworks to track model performance (examples: Arize Phoenix).
Maintain clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical mentorship for the engineering team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in AI/ML development with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure AI services.
Proficiency in Python for AI/ML programming and experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, Azure OpenAI GPT-5, or similar.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cognitive Services (Computer Vision, Speech, Language, etc.) and Azure Machine Learning.
Skilled in developing agentic AI workflows and intelligent automation solutions.
Experience with cloud databases including Azure DB for Postgres and vector databases.
Strong understanding of AI evaluation frameworks, testing methodologies, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker), DevOps practices, and orchestration on Azure.
Good communication skills with experience collaborating in agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in AI agent development, generative AI models, or reinforcement learning.
Experience with prompt engineering and embedding models for large language models.
Exposure to AI document processing tools like LlamaParse and LlamaExtract.
Knowledge of AI ethics, data privacy, and security frameworks relevant to AI.
