Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Azure Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an incoming queue of cases, incidents and service requests within SLA, OLA and KPI targets
  • Work with other Service Centre functions and appropriate stakeholders to resolve long running, complex or major incidents
  • Create and update relevant SOPs, FAQs and other documentation to address known issues, workarounds and service requests
  • Provide initial RCA for long, complex or major incidents for customer incidents
  • Resolving non-standard requests
  • Provide ongoing feedback to improve the service request process
  • Perform operational items within the service transition process for new and updated products
  • Work with other Service Centre functions to define and produce various internal and customer reports on a recurring and ad-hoc basis
  • Support the change management process and the supplier management process across the service
  • Perform the implementation of corrective actions from the problem management process.
  • Adhere to knowledge articles, FAQs, SOPs from IFS documentation library and sound and established engineering/architectural practices and principles to resolve issues with limited guidance and direction to operating

Key Areas of Support:

  • Triage team in their work to assess and correctly route incoming incidents and service requests
  • Problem management team in performing postmortems, producing incident timelines and identifying corrective actions.
  • Create and support reusable KBAs
  • Basic Database Administrator (Oracle, SQL Server).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Good to have:

Azure 900 or 104 certification.

ServiceNow hands on experience

Since this role is 24*7 role with a roster pattern of (2 days Morning, 2 days Afternoon & 2 days Night shift followed by 3 days of leave after every night shift).

The candidate should provide written consent that he is ok with working is 24*7 roster.
