Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex

  network issues

  across

  Azure and on-premises

  environments using tools like

  Network Watcher

  packet capture

  trace analysis

• Troubleshoot

  application performance and availability issues

  using

  Application Insights

  ,

  Log Analytics

  KQL queries

• Review and troubleshoot

  firewall rules

  NSG and route table configurations

  ,

  DNS issues

  , and

  application connectivity problems

  .
• Perform deep

  Windows machine-level troubleshooting

  service failures

  event log analysis

  performance counters

  group policy

  user profile issues

  resource bottlenecks

  (CPU, memory, disk I/O).
• Support and troubleshoot

  Linux VMs

  (Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS)
• Investigation of

  application issues

  (IIS, APIs, middleware, backend connectivity)
• Manage, monitor, and optimize Azure infrastructure, including VMs, Load Balancers, VNets, Application Gateways, Azure AD, and Key Vault.
• Design and manage

  secure, scalable hybrid networks

  (Azure & on-prem), including

  VPNs

  ,

  ExpressRoute

  ,

  custom routing

  , and

  Azure Firewall

  .
• Automate operational tasks using

  PowerShell

  ,

  Azure CLI

  , or

  Bash

  for log collection, monitoring, and remediation.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies in Azure.
• Collaborate with Security, DevOps, and Application teams to implement robust end-to-end cloud and hybrid solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in

  Azure administration and troubleshooting

• Strong expertise in

  Windows OS-level troubleshooting

  , including system logs, services, scheduled tasks, registry, performance analysis, and driver/hardware-level diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of

  Linux machine-level troubleshooting

  (processes, logs, SSH, cron, system services) 
• Proven experience with

  Azure networking

  (VNets, Route Tables, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, DNS).
• Strong hands-on knowledge of

  Azure Firewall

  ,

  NSG

  , and traffic filtering/logging tools.
• Proficient in

  Azure Monitor

  ,

  Log Analytics

  ,

  Application Insights

  , and diagnostic log collection.
• Background in

  application support

  ability to identify whether issues originate from the OS, network, or application layer.
• Scripting experience with

  PowerShell

  ,

  Azure CLI

  , or

  Bash

  for automation and diagnostics.
• Microsoft Certified:

  Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

  preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with tools like

  Wireshark

  ,

  TcpDump

  Network Monitor

  for detailed traffic analysis.
• Experience with

  DevOps practices

  or tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible).
• Exposure to

  Infrastructure as Code

  (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Experience working in

  containerized

  or

  hybrid cloud environments

  (AKS, Docker) is a plus.
