Role & responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources (VMs, storage, databases, networking).
• Organize resources using resource groups and tagging for cost and operational efficiency. 
• Manage Azure subscriptions and enforce governance policies.
• Monitor usage and optimize costs.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM).
• Configure firewalls, encryption, and security policies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor system performance and health.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
• Use tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Plan and implement backup strategies.
• Ensure data recovery processes are in place and tested.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell or CLI scripts to automate tasks.
• Reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Work with developers, DevOps, and security teams.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and resolve technical issues.
• Apply patches and updates to systems and applications.
• Maintain system documentation and configurations.
