AWS Senior Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in AWS serverless architecture, Python and Node.js programming, and experience building scalable microservices. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our applications, with a strong emphasis on clean architecture, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Design, develop, and deploy backend services using AWS Serverless Stack, including Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.

• 
  Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and Node.js.

• 
  Work with the Django framework to develop RESTful APIs and backend services.

• 
  Build and maintain microservices that are scalable, secure, and well-documented.

• 
  Containerize applications using Docker and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.

• 
  Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.

• 
  Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments and multiple services.

• 
  Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

• 
  5+ years of professional experience as a backend or full-stack developer.

• 
  Strong hands-on experience with AWS Serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).

• 
  Proficiency in Python and Node.js.

• 
  Solid experience with the Django framework.

• 
  Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

• 
  Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• 
  Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• 
  Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

• 
  Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• 
  Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).

• 
  Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices (unit, integration, E2E).

• 
  Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
