As an AWS Full Stack Engineer at AstraZeneca, your role involves developing and managing applications across the full stack with expertise in cloud environments, particularly AWS. Your responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable front-end and back-end components of web applications. - Applying AWS services for deploying, managing, and scaling applications. - Developing and integrating APIs for seamless connectivity between various applications and services. - Implementing security standard methodologies to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards. - Monitoring and optimizing application performance to ensure reliability and scalability. - Working closely with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Preparing comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment guides. - Ensuring that solutions adhere to regulatory requirements, especially within the pharmaceutical sector. Your qualifications and experience should include: - Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with substantial experience in AWS. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation. - Strong skills in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js. - Experience in back-end development with languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or similar. - Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases. - Understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. - Industry Knowledge: - Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. - Understanding of pharma-specific applications and compliance standards. - Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
