Databricks Sr.Developer JD

Purpose of the role

To migrate existing AWS data tech stack into Databricks

Candidates working for this role will support platform modernization efforts by migrating existing AWS components to Databricks, depending on their assessed skill sets.

Support platform modernization by
migrating existing AWS components to Databricks
.
Ensure smooth transition of data pipelines, orchestration workflows, and security configurations.
Design, implement, and optimize complex data pipelines for large-scale data processing.
Build reusable, scalable code using Python/Pyspark.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Athena, SageMaker, VPC, ECS, IAM, KMS, and CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions).
Proficiency in Apache Spark, Databricks Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow.
Ability to develop and migrate workloads to Databricks efficiently
