Job Description

Job Summary:

AWS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like
Terraform
or
CloudFormation
.
Ensure security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and compliance monitoring.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud costs.
Set up CI/CD pipelines for application deployment using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Manage containerization technologies such as
Docker
and orchestration tools like
ECS/EKS/Kubernetes
.
Work with development and DevOps teams to support scalable, highly available applications.
Perform backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
Provide technical support and documentation for cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4-5 years of experience in
AWS Cloud Engineering / DevOps
.
Strong hands-on experience with
core AWS services
(EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
Knowledge of
Linux/Unix administration
.
Experience with
Terraform / CloudFormation
for IaC.
Proficiency in scripting languages (
Python, Bash, Shell
).
Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancing, VPN, Security Groups).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Basic knowledge of containers (
Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes
).
AWS Certification (Associate level) is a plus.
